Eight Paths After High School
Three afternoons exploring the many paths dance can take after high school: professional stages, cruise ships, pro cheer, choreography, modelling, film, and keeping dance in your life through university. Next Chapter is our Teen/Senior track (recommended for ages 14+), taught by pros who started right here in Calgary.

Focused Learning Environment
Studio-sized on purpose, so space is limited! With small classes, dancers get real conversations and personal mentorship from pros who have built careers in dance.
Create, Film & Build Your Brand
Create your own short piece with a choreographer in the Self-Choreo Lab, then film it on Day 3 during Media Hour / The Modelling Path: individual filming with videographer Aron Diaz, plus a professional headshot by Excel Media with a model guiding your poses. Once your photos are done, head next door for a social media talk.
Real Talk Panels
Each evening, that day’s faculty plus guests on owning a costume company, owning a studio, and keeping dance in your life at university.
Solo Showcase
Sunday, December 20, 1:45 – 2:45 PM. Perform your solo and get on-the-spot personal feedback from real judges! Open to dancers from both intensives. Add the SOLO SHOWCASE add-on ($15) when you register to claim your spot. Limited slots, first come first served.

Investment
$410 CAD — all three days. Both tracks are the same length; the extra $20 covers your dancer’s professional headshot and individual filming.

Refund Policy
All attendee cancellations are non-refundable. If a dancer is unable to attend, a partial credit will be issued toward a future Excel Dance Experience event.
