***To be eligible for this title, dancers must participate in the Excel Assistant Experience.***

One dancer in each level is selected to become an Excel Assistant for the 2026–2027 season. This award is based on a combined evaluation of their audition performance, solo competition score, and workshop class engagement. Excel Assistants earn the opportunity to train closely with faculty, assist at events, and grow as leaders within our community.

Teen/Senior Awards:

• 1st Place: $200 cash + Excel Assistant position
• 2nd Place: 50% scholarship to any future summer Excel event
• 3rd Place: 50% scholarship to any future summer Excel event

Mini/Junior Awards:

• 1st Place: $150 cash + Excel Assistant position
• 2nd Place: 50% scholarship to any future summer Excel event
• 3rd Place: 50% scholarship to any future summer Excel event

All Soloists:

• Adjudicated Medal
• FREE Excel Assistant Experience Swag Bag
• FREE Professional Photo/Video Media of their performance
• Personalized solo & audition feedback!

Two dancers are selected from each age group to become Excel Ambassadors, chosen by multiple faculty members who consistently noticed them across various classes. Ambassadors demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and positivity. These dancers embody the core values of Excel—community, confidence, and connection—and serve as inspiring representatives for the season.

They will receive:

• 15% scholarship to any future summer Excel event
• FREE mini photoshoot session with our official Excel Media Team!

Recognizing dancers who make a lasting impression in each style, our Class Standout Awards celebrate technique, artistry, focus, and musicality. One dancer is selected per style in each level, chosen directly by the class choreographers.

They will receive:

• 15% scholarship to a future Excel summer event
• FREE Excel Merchandise!

During the Excel Improv Challenge, dancers are scored on style, technique, and creativity as they showcase their individuality and artistic instincts. Selections are made based on overall performance quality and the dancer’s ability to connect with the music, take risks, and express authentic movement in the moment.
