WHAT'S NEXT? WINTER INTENSIVE: NEXT CHAPTER (Teen/Senior)

Excel presents: WHAT'S NEXT? Winter Intensive

Three afternoons exploring the many paths dance can take after high school: professional stages, cruise ships, pro cheer, choreography, influencing, film, and keeping dance in your life through university. Next Chapter is our Teen/Senior track, taught by pros who started right here in Calgary.

🎬 Eight paths: The LA Path (commercial), The Disney Cruise Ship Path (musical theatre), The Pro Cheer Path (pom), The New York Path (contemporary), The Choreographer Path (composition), The Modelling Path (ballet to modelling), The Vancouver Path (jazz/hiphop) and The Film Path (dance on screen)
✍️ Self-Choreo Lab: create your own short piece with a choreographer, then film it on Day 3
📸 Media Hour: individual filming of your piece with videographer Aron Diaz, plus a professional headshot by Excel Media
💬 Real Talk Panels: each evening, that day's faculty plus guests on owning a costume company, owning a studio, and keeping dance in your life at university

🎁 Exclusive merch: every dancer gets an exclusive WHAT'S NEXT? Winter Intensive Excel merch item!

🌟 Solo Showcase: Sunday, December 20, 1:45–2:45 PM. Perform your solo and get on-the-spot personal feedback from real judges! Open to dancers from both intensives. See our SOLO SHOWCASE add-on ($15) to claim your spot when you register.
